Job Description

Trutap is a pioneering, free mobile service that allows users across the world to enjoy a simple way to stay connected to their social lives from the palm of their hand. We require a Data Analyst, reporting to the CFO and based in Central London (King's Cross). The analyst's main task will be extraction and preparation of company reports including providing analysis of the data drawing out key issues, the impact of these issues on the business and making suggested solutions. This role involves liaising with everyone in the company including CEO, development teams etc. The analyst will be responsible for identifying the data requirements and working with the development team to ensure requirements are included in development schedules.

Qualifications and experience

• Advanced Excel skills – including Vlookup, pivot tables and VBA
• Query writing skills in MySQL for the extraction of data from the databases
• Strong analysis skills – data analysis, business analysis and process improvement skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation
• An understanding of digital marketing is advantageous but not essential
• An understanding of mobile applications is advantageous but not essential
• An interest in social networking and Web 2.0 technologies
